MARKETING INTERNSHIP

The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the marketing and operations department, as well as assist with all front office day to day operations. Internships with Nashville NightWatch will provide qualified interns with an assortment of valuable learning experiences and exposure to all facets of a professional ultimate team’s front office.

Interns will be asked to work around their course schedule and some weekends. Applicants should be familiar with Microsoft Office and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement marketing strategy with CMO for both traditional and digital channels.
  • Help with creation of monthly newsletter.
  • Staff, interview and communicate regularly with all members of the NightWatch Volunteers.
  • Manage the production of the official game day program of the Nashville NightWatch.
  • Responsible for answering general marketing questions on Social Media.
  • Assist with additional front office tasks from time to time.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a college program at the Junior, Senior, or Graduate level and eligible for college credit.
  • Pursuit of marketing, graphic design, visual communications, or video production degree is preferred.

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

Responsibilities:

The NightWatch is looking for highly motivated individuals that can make a positive and immediate impact on our growth as an organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, responsibility for projects, and a positive attitude within the culture of the team. Furthermore, the willingness to learn new skills and ability to step outside of one’s comfort zone is desired. Interns will work between 10/15 hours a week.

Job Functions:

  • Work under the supervision of the Marketing Manager for projects assigned.
  • Assist the front office in day-to-day operations and game day operations.
  • Assist with the graphic design of sales materials and other promotional materials.
  • Create weekly content including video production and written materials.
  • Participate in events, promotions, and activities as required.
  • Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Communications Manager and Marketing Manager.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a college program at the Junior, Senior, or Graduate level and eligible for college credit.
  • A pursuit of marketing, graphic design, visual communications, or video production degree is preferred.
  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud products, specifically Photoshop, is required.
  • Access to photo and video equipment is preferred.
  • Access to video editing software and ability to create high-quality content.
  • Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of projects.
  • Basic knowledge of soccer and appreciation of the sport is encouraged.

Requirements:

  • Must have own laptop. Subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
